Run through the beautiful nature of the Ammergau Alps and enjoy the breathtaking Alpine panorama. Start in Ettal Monastery and run to the finish in Oberammergau.

Registration

Your registration for the panoramic run is now possible. Online registration is open until September 20, 2027. Late registrations are possible on September 24th, 2027 directly at the race office 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (provided not all starting places are full).

The WELLNESS RUN starts in Klosterhof Ettal. The start is at 9:30 a.m

Only runners with an official start number are allowed to enter the starting area.

All textiles left in the starting area will be collected.

Refreshment after 6KM, drinks and food

Finish refreshments

At the finish there is a large beer garden with music, grill and drinks, as well as coffee and cake.

Garment bag, transport & showers

After the start, the garment bags will be transported to the finish free of charge and handed out there. Garment bags can be purchased locally or in the online shop. Garment bags must be dropped off in the start area by 09:00 a.m.

Showers are provided free of charge in the finish area.

PARKINGSPACE & SHUTTLEBUS

KARTE LADEN

A free shuttle bus is provided from Oberammergau to Ettal. The buses run from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Last bus from Oberammergau 9:00 a.m.

By car

Munich: via the A95 to the end of the motorway and on to Oberau. Here you turn right towards Augsburg. After passing the Ettaler Berg, you reach Ettal – the southern gateway to the Ammergau Alps Nature Park

A7: via Seeg, Roßhaupten, Leckbruck to Steingaden. Then towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen via the B23 to Bad Bayersoien in the north of the Ammergau Alps Nature Park

Füssen: Here you take the path via Steingaden. Then towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen via the B23 to Bad Bayersoien in the north of the nature park

Innsbruck: here direction Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then follow the signs to A95 / Munich. In Oberau turn left towards Augsburg. After passing the Ettaler Berg, you reach Ettal – the southern gateway to the Ammergau Alps Nature Park

By bus/train

The Ammergau Alps can be easily reached by train from Munich. In Murnau you board the regional train (Ammertalbahn) and, after a journey that offers fantastic views of the Alps, you reach the towns of Bad Kohlgrub, Saulgrub, Altenau, Unterammergau and Oberammergau.

From Innsbruck take the train via Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Oberau. Here you change to the regional buses towards Füssen.

You will receive your electronic guest card from landlords who offer free bus travel. With this you can use all regional buses in the Ammergau Alps without paying a cent and move around the region comfortably without the hassle of parking.

Munich Airport (FRANZ JOSEPH STRAUSS/MUC), distance approx. 130 km, best connections

Memmingen (ALLGÄU AIRPORT MEMMINGEN/FMM), distance approx. 80 km

Innsbruck (INNSBRUCK AIRPORT/INN), distance approx. 100 km

PARTICIPATION

Participants who are not yet 18 years of age on race day must submit a declaration of consent from their legal guardian when the start number is issued or sent via email.

By registering, each participant agrees that sound and image recordings will be made. He also grants permission for the recordings to be used for the organizer’s public relations work without any restrictions in terms of time, space and content.

All participants take part in the event exclusively at their own risk. You bear sole civil and criminal responsibility for any damage caused by you. By registering, the participants waive any right of action or recourse against all those involved in the organization of the event for all accidents or damage suffered in connection with the event, in particular against the organizers, their agents and helpers, the owner(s) of the land used for the event as well as the structures and facilities, against the operator of the route used for the event and their agents and helpers. The use of running sticks and dogs are not permitted!

It is expressly pointed out again that the participants are normal road users. The StVO applies in full in public transport areas.

If underage participants register, their legal representatives agree to their participation and the conditions of this competition. For teams, the sender of the message is considered the contact person and accepts the conditions of this announcement on behalf of all starters.

This agreement becomes effective for all parties involved when the registration is sent.
