The MINI KINI is our competition for young cross-country skiing talents. Girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 14 can put their skills to the test on a 4 to 6 kilometre cross-country ski course in accordance with the DWO regulations. Whether kindergarten, preschool or primary school age, there is a suitable course for everyone. The youngest participants (kindergarten age) start directly in Oberammergau.
And no participant goes away empty-handed. Everyone who takes part receives a certificate, and high-quality prizes are raffled off as part of a tombola.
The girls and boys start at 13:30 in Ettal. After 4 or 6 kilometres, they cross the finish line at the Oberammergau Sports Centre. Parents and supporters can cheer on the young athletes from the grandstand over the final metres and celebrate their achievement after they cross the finish line.
There will also be plenty of activities away from the course. With “DSV on Tour”, the youngest participants can enjoy additional activities and hands-on challenges where they can try out their skills. And, of course, DSV mascot Skitty will be there too, enthusiastically cheering on the youngest participants in the children’s, youth and kindergarten races.
The award ceremony, including the presentation of prizes, will take place at approximately 15:00 in the Oberammergau stadium, close to the finish area.
The MINI KINI is organised by König Ludwig Lauf e.V. and run by Skiclub Oberammergau.
The U15 to U12 age groups start at 13:30 in Ettal, while the U11 to U9 age groups start at 13:45 in Ettal.
Our youngest participants, the Bambinis (U8 to U5), start at 12:00 in Oberammergau and complete the DSV skills course.
