Your registration for the Kids Trail is now open. Online registration is available until September 18, 2024. Late registrations will be accepted directly at the start at the Oberammergau Sports Center on September 21, 2024, between 11:00 AM and 12:15 PM (subject to availability of starting slots).

Parking is available at the entrance to the town (South Parking Lot) as well as limited parking at the Oberammergau Sports Center.

DIRECTIONS

BY CAR

Munich: Take the A95 until the end of the motorway and continue to Oberau. Turn right towards Augsburg here. After passing the Ettaler Berg, you will reach Ettal - the southern gateway to the Ammergauer Alps Nature Park.

A7: via Seeg, Roßhaupten, Leckbruck to Steingaden. Then towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen via the B23 to Bad Bayersoien in the north of the Ammergauer Alps Nature Park.

Füssen: Here, take the route via Steingaden. Then towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen via the B23 to Bad Bayersoien in the north of the nature park.

Innsbruck: head towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen here, then follow the signs to the A95 / Munich. Turn left towards Augsburg in Oberau. After passing the Ettaler Berg, you will reach Ettal - the southern gateway to the Ammergauer Alps Nature Park.

BY BUS/TRAIN

The Ammergauer Alps can be easily reached by train from Munich. In Murnau, take the regional train (Ammertalbahn) and after a journey that offers fantastic views of the Alps, you will reach the towns of Bad Kohlgrub, Saulgrub, Altenau, Unterammergau, and Oberammergau.

From Innsbruck, take the train via Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Oberau. Here, transfer to regional buses towards Füssen.

If you stay with hosts who offer free bus travel, you will receive your electronic guest card. With this card, you can use all regional buses in the Ammergauer Alps without paying a cent and move around comfortably without worrying about parking in the region.

If there are more than 25-30 participants per class (m/f), boys and girls will start separately.

All participants must provide a consent form from their legal guardians at the bib number pick-up.

By registering, each participant agrees to the creation of audio and visual recordings. Likewise, they grant permission for the recordings to be used for the organizer's public relations activities without temporal, spatial, or content limitations.
