Registration, courses, expo and shuttle services: find all practical information for the König Ludwig Lauf 2027 in one place.

Registration & Fees

Choose your technique and distance in the registration portal. Your entry will be processed once it has been submitted successfully and payment has been received on time.

Online registration deadline: The deadline displayed in the registration portal applies.

Payment deadline: Please observe the payment deadline displayed during registration.

Late registration: 5 and 6 February 2027 at the expo, subject to availability.

Entry fees

The current fees are displayed in the registration portal before the booking is completed.

Schedule

Friday, 5 February

Arrival, expo, bib collection and late registration.

Saturday, 6 February

42, 21 and 10 km skating races, youth and supporting programme, expo and Sunday bib collection.

Sunday, 7 February

42, 21 and 10 km classic races, finish-area programme and awards.

Courses & Downloads

Official maps, elevation profiles and downloads are provided for every distance. Weather and snow conditions may require changes, so check the latest updates shortly before your race.

Start Waves

Wave allocation supports a fair and safe race. First-time participants are assigned to an available wave in order of registration. Entry to the elite wave or first wave requires recognised performance results or FIS points.

Evidence deadline and criteria: The binding deadline and required proof will be published in the race information.

Bib Collection & Expo

Collect your race documents at the expo and discover products and services relating to cross-country skiing, equipment and preparation. Bring all required documents and evidence.

Venue: The confirmed venue is published in the event schedule.

Opening hours: The confirmed expo and bib-collection times will be published in the event schedule.

Start, Finish, Shuttle & Parking

The races connect Ettal and Oberammergau. As start locations may vary by distance, check the information for your specific race.

A shuttle between Oberammergau and Ettal is planned. Allow sufficient time and do not rely on the final bus as your standard connection.

Finish: The confirmed finish information is published in the event schedule.

Shuttle stops and times: The confirmed timetable will be published before the event.

Parking: Please follow the current arrival and parking information.

Based on current information, your entry includes:

  • shuttle between start and finish
  • use of the cross-country ski tracks
  • clothing transport
  • timing and online certificate
  • finisher medal
  • refreshments on the course and at the finish
  • pole service
  • basic ski-wax service
  • medical and rescue services
  • showers
  • supervised ski storage

Groups & Clubs

Clubs, companies and larger groups can submit a collective entry. One contact person coordinates registration and billing.

Rules & Safety

Start only with a valid bib and in your allocated wave. Follow the required technique, marked course, cut-off times and instructions from the event team.
