The age groups S (year of birth up to 1995) are only allowed to participate in the Mini-Kini.

Attention: The winner in each age group will get a free start (not transferable) for the König Ludwig Lauf in 2010, unless he/she received a prize at the victory ceremony.

Prizes

Prizes for the 50 km free technique: The first 10 females and the 20 first males. Besides that for the first one in each age group a free start in 2010 (not transferable).

Prizes for 50 km classical technique (FIS Marathon Cup):
Men: 1st place EUR 6.000, 2nd place EUR 4.000, 3rd place EUR 2.000, 4th place EUR 1.000, 5th place EUR 600, 6th place EUR 400, 7th to 20th place wood-carving and different prizes.
Women: 1st place EUR 3.000, 2nd place EUR 2.000, 3rd place EUR 1.000, 4th place EUR 500, 5th place EUR 300, 6th place EUR 200, 7th to 10th place wood-carving and different prizes.
Besides that for the first one in each age group a free start in 2010 (not transferable).

Prizes for 23 km The first 5 females and the 10 first males. Besides that for the first one in each age group a free start in 2010 (not transferable).

Prizes for 5 km Sparkassen-Hexal-Novotherm-"Mini-Kini" children race: The first 3 girls and boys of each age group will receive a prize.

Further remarks

Start numbers will be given out on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 from 12.00 - 19.00 hrs (Ammergauer Haus) and on Saturday, Jan.31, 2009 until 08.45 hrs at the starting area in Ettal. Free shuttle busses run between Oberammergau and Ettal from 07.30 hrs on. For the main race on Sunday, Feb. 01, 2009 start numbers will be given out on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 from 10.00 - 18.00 hrs (Ammergauer Haus). All start numbers, which were not picked up on Saturday, will be given out on Sunday, Feb. 01, 2009 from 07.00 hrs at the registration booth in the starting area in Ettal.
