Liability: The insurance for the skiers will be paid by the organization "Freunde des Skilaufs e.V. im DSV".
Issue of start numbers:
Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 from 12.00 - 19.00 hrs "Ammergauer Haus"
Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 from 12.00 - 18.00 hrs "Ammergauer Haus"
Duffle bags which were not picked up will be issued on both race dates
at the starting place in Ettal (from 07.00 hrs).
Changes of registration: Changes from one race day to the other or from 50 km to 23 km are possible, but we have to ask for a fee of EUR 10.00 for it.
Group and club registrations: We kindly ask you to pick up the start numbers in common against presentation of the payment slip (from 18.00 hrs).

Important notices:
If the race has to be cancelled due to the lack of snow,
those who signed up until December 31, 2008 will be reimbursed 50% of his/her
entry fee (minus the transfer cost). Those who signed up after December 31, 2008 cannot
be reimbursed.
New time-keeping: The "transponder", which will be fastened on the inner side of
each start number and will be taken off when you leave the finish area. They are property of
our official time-keeper Datasport AG. Each participant who disobeys these directions and keeps
the transponder unauthorizedly will be subsequently charged with a payment of EUR 25.00.
The registered data of missing transponders are available!
Case of illness: After presentation of medical certificate the payed entry fee will be credited to next year.
Bad weather: In case of bad weather respectively little snow the organizer reserves the right to change or shorten the course.
Bus transportation: On both race days from 07.30 hrs on, as well as on Sunday from 12.00 hrs on for the 23 km race in classical technique from Oberammergau to the start in Ettal. The different stops are marked. Return bus transport: from the sport center (end catering and shower possibility) every half hour to the parking area.

Saturday, January 31, 2009, 5 km Mini-Kini at 14.00 hrs.
Sunday, February 01, 2009, 50 km classical technique (main race,
FIS Marathon Cup) and World Medical Cross Country in 50 kms classical technique at 09.00 hrs.
Sunday, February 01, 2009, 23 kms classical technique at 13.00 hrs.
Starting field: The starting field is one kilometer south of the turn-off in Ettal towards Linderhof.
Start: The starting line will be arranged by the organiser and is unchallengeable. Each skier who finished 50 km under the 100 in the year before has the right for the first starting group. For the 23 km race the first 50 from the year before have the right for the first group.
Cut-off-time: Skiers who will pass Linderhof later than 13.30 hrs will be taken out of the race.
Disqualification: Each skier who jumps the gun will be disqualified. As well all those skiers will be disqualified who do not use the "prescribed race technique" at the races in "classical technique" or change the given course.
Parking area: At the entry of Oberammergau (when coming from Ettal) on the left side.
Prizes:
At the 50 km in free technique prizes will be given to the ten fastest women
and the twenty fastest men.
At the 50 km classical technique (FIS Marathon Cup)

At the 23 km in free and classical technique for the five fastest women and
ten fastest men.
At all races: the winner in each age group will get a free start
(not transferable) for the König Ludwig Lauf in 2010, unless he/she received
a prize at the victory ceremony. Each prize has to be picked by the winner personally.
Prize distribution:
23 km in free technique on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 11.30 hrs.
50 km in free technique on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 13.00 hrs.
5 km "Mini-Kini" on Saturday, Jan. 31 after the race.
50 km in classical technique on Sunday, Feb. 01 at 13.30 hrs.
23 km in classical technique on Sunday, Feb. 01 at 15.00 hrs.
World Mecidal Cross-Country for Physicians and Pharmacists:

Sparkassen-Hexal-Novotherm-"Mini-Kini": At the 5 km "Mini-Kini" the three fastests girl and boys from each age class will receive a prize, besides that all children will receive a medal and a diploma.
Return of duffle bags and end catering: At the sport center near the finish.
Shower possibility: At the sport center near the finish.
Guarded storage of skies: It is possible to turn in your skis for storage in the sport center. The organizer does not undertake liability for not turned in ski equipment.
Addresses and pictures: In order to send out advertisement material and announcements about cross-country skiing, the organizer uses the addresses which were given by the participants. We kindly ask you to take notice.
