How to get to Oberammergau:
- By car:

- From Munich: Take the A 95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen as far as Oberau, then follow the B 23 towards Ettal / Oberammergau (Munich - Oberammergau: 91 km).
- From Augsburg: Take the B 17 to Schongau, then follow the B 23 to Oberammergau (Augsburg - Oberammergau: 98 km).
- From Ulm: Take the A 7 towards Memmingen as far as Kempten, then the B 12 to Marktoberdorf, continue on the B 472 to Schongau, then follow the B 23 to Oberammergau (Ulm - Oberammergau: 177 km).
