Base preparation: Dibloc HF Molybdenum
Race preparation: Dibloc HF red : Dibloc HF blue 1 : 1
Top finish: Jet Stream High Speed Powder or Bloc
Kick-Wax
Base: Apply a thin layer of Carbon Klister Base green, iron and wait until well hardened! Apply a layer of Carbon Klister viola and levigate.
Then: Apply two layers of Carbon Klister Multiviola and wait until well hardened. Maybe cover with hard wax depending on the temperature.

Final race track for the 36th König Ludwig Lauf

The race track for 36th edition of the König Ludwig Lauf at the 2nd and 3rd of February 2008 is now fixed. The warm weather period since the beginning of january with temperatures up to 15°C and the warm storm (Föhn) makes it impossible to use the original track. Since two weeks intensive work on a shortened track is running. This track is now in good condition.
The length of the track will be 21 km and 42 km. The 42 km will be done in a double loop. The start will be in Ettal and the finish in Oberammergau Sportstadium as usual. The course will be nearly the same as last year.
The original time table is valid without changes. The nightsprint with all stars will be at 7.00 p.m. on Saturday evening at Oberammergau Sportstadium.

Online registration will close on 31.01.2008

From Thursday, the 31st of January on, online registration is no longer possible. Late registration is still possible on Friday and Saturday at the “Ammergauer Haus” where the issue of start numbers is located and on race days just before the start in the starting area.
We wish you a successful participation at this year’s König Ludwig Lauf.
König Ludwig Lauf Race Track is open

Due to the warm weather situation the König Ludwig Lauf will be held on a double loop in Graswang Valley with start in Ettal and finish in Oberammergau. The distance will be 42 km and 21 km. For the weekend best conditions are forecasted and the ready prepared parts of the track are in very good condition.
The Race Track will be finally published on monday the 28th of january 2008.
König Ludwig Lauf will be held as planed.

Due to many requests, the OC of the König Ludwig Lauf will confirm that the 36. edition will be held as planed at the 2nd and 3rd of february 2008.
Because of the warm weather situation during the last weeks with rain, the race will be held on an alternate course with a double loop. Start in Ettal and Finish in Oberammergau.
In the momment there are good skiing conditions.
König Ludwig Lauf - Germany Snow report

Snow Situation: 20 cm packed snow. Weather: sunny. Temperature: Night: light minus, day: plus.
Tracks: 25 km of the Koenig Ludwig Lauf track are open, in the open fields very good conditions, hard and extremely fast. In the forrest after heavy storms, some dirt. preparation work is running.
The race cours will be publishes monday the 28th of January.
